Lydiard Park is a great place to walk your dog, with wide open spaces to run and lots of ground to explore.

However, there are some rules you should note. Dogs are not allowed in:

the children’s play area

playing fields

Lydiard House and Walled Garden (except guide dogs)

the cafe and indoor areas of the Tea Rooms (except guide dogs)

Also, any person in charge of a dog must keep the dog on a lead no longer than two meters in certain areas at all times. The map below indicates the areas where this rule applies.
